What Exactly Is A YA?
"YA" stands for Young Adult. The YA Room
and Programs at the Library are open to grades 6 & up. While this is a wide age range, there is
material and programming to satisfy various reading abilities and maturity levels. In short, the YA Room is a space that teens and tweens (pre-teens) can call their own.

Parents
Stop by and see the place where many of your children spend time. Check out suggested reading lists and ask us if you
need help locating specific material. Find out about programming for YA's and familiarize yourself with what
goes on at the Library. Make suggestions if there are things that you would like to see happen here and ask questions.
